Sometimes life can throw many curveballs which can leave us feeling deflated, confused, lost, stagnant or even angry with ourselves for not being further along in life as we plan. Having these intrusive thoughts can leave us feeling disconnected from the world and ourselves, which at times can cause us to question the meaning of life and purpose.
These feelings are quite normal and we will experience them in our lifetime when life gets the better of us. This can cause us to not know where to turn and who to trust.
As an integrative therapist, I believe it is very important to build a therapeutic relationship by providing a nurturing environment along with confidentiality compassion and no judgment. I believe people should have the freedom to explore their uncomfortable feelings, which I believe will help them reconnect with themselves and others.
As an integrative counsellor, I combine several modalities such as CBT, Person-centred, Gestalt and Psychodynamic therapy, just to name a few, as my approach is tailored to suit you.
I work short-term and long-term, with each session lasting for 50 minutes.
I believe that there is not just one therapeutic approach that can help you in a set of circumstances. I take into account that everyone is unique and their experience of the world is different.
By drawing upon many modalities, and mixing the theories and interventions, an approach is formed to suit you.
