My training is in Core Process Psychotherapy, which is a mindfulness-based therapeutic model under the Humanistic and Integrative college.
This approach is based on the understanding that beneath our suffering, there is an inherent freedom and completeness already within each of us. A wisdom that knows how to move through our difficulties. However, layers of conditioning, personality defences and emotional wounds can obscure this innate well-being, and make it difficult to see a way forward.
Therapy provides an opportunity to bring awareness to these layers, allowing insight and transformation to emerge naturally.
Rather than diagnosing or striving to fix something, Core Process Psychotherapy offers a relational, non-judgmental space where all experiences are welcome, including the unpleasant ones that you might feel fear or shame about exposing. Through mindful awareness and deep listening, suffering is seen not as something to push away but as a gateway to greater self-understanding and change.
How I Work
I draw on a range of therapeutic theory, and my training is trauma-informed.
In our sessions, you will be invited in a safe and non-judgmental space to connect with your present-moment experience at a pace that feels right for you. By gently exploring with curiosity what arises as you speak, you may uncover unconscious behaviours and beliefs, rooted in early-life experiences, relationships, and cultural influences, that have shaped your sense of self.
We keep returning to the present experience, which includes your thoughts, emotions and body sensations. In recent years research has shown how the physical body ‘holds’ our unprocessed emotional wounding, and if we can begin to attune to our body then this can be a powerful tool in our journey toward greater awareness and emotional regulation.
The therapeutic relationship itself can also become a foundation for change, helping to open new possibilities for being, in the here and now. Through this process, we can bring compassionate awareness to what might feel stuck, re-connecting you to your agency, and opening the door to greater presence, capacity for connection, and ease in life.

Experience
I’m a psychotherapist in the final stage of professional training with the Karuna Institute. I am registered with the UKCP (UK Council of Psychotherapists) and the ACPP (Association of Core Process Psychotherapists) as a trainee member. I have been in private practice for over a year. Previously, I have provided psychotherapy under an NHS London service, and I have prior experience supporting people in other mental health settings.
Having walked my own path of deep self-exploration over many years, I understand the courage it takes to turn inward – and the frustrations often associated with feeling stuck in a place of suffering.
